His work centers on the integration layer — the part of the platform that synchronizes candidate data, screening outcomes, and scoring signals back into the 90+ ATS systems JobTalk AI supports natively.

Akshay builds and maintains backend services that handle high-volume webhook ingestion, ATS API translation, and the data-mapping logic required to bridge JobTalk AI's internal candidate schema with the varied data models used by Bullhorn, Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, iCIMS, JobDiva, and the long tail of regional staffing ATS platforms. The integration layer is one of the most operationally sensitive parts of the platform — customers expect bi-directional sync to work continuously across thousands of placements — and Akshay's contributions to its reliability are part of why JobTalk AI can claim sub-5-minute speed-to-contact for ATS-triggered campaigns.

His core technical expertise covers full-stack development, JavaScript and modern React, Node.js services, API and webhook engineering, and the integration patterns used across the recruiting software ecosystem. He works closely with the CTO and the GTM team to translate customer integration requirements into reliable, well-tested code paths, and is involved in the engineering team's ongoing work on integration test coverage and observability.

Akshay is part of JobTalk AI's distributed engineering team and contributes to the engineering practices that keep a multi-tenant, integration-heavy B2B SaaS product running reliably for staffing customers operating in regulated industries.

Akshay collaborates closely with the customer success and partnership teams to surface, prioritize, and ship the integration-layer improvements that customers care about most: better field mapping into specific ATS schemas, more reliable webhook delivery during peak campaign volume, and improved observability so customer success engineers can quickly diagnose data-sync issues across the 90+ ATS systems JobTalk AI supports.

His perspective on the recruiting software ecosystem comes from working hands-on with the underlying APIs of Bullhorn, Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, iCIMS, JobDiva, Avionté, Ceipal, Crelate, and many of the regional staffing ATS platforms used in healthcare staffing, IT contract staffing, light industrial recruiting, BPO and contact center hiring, and financial services.
